Arrival of the most holy place for Bulgarians - Rila Monastery. In 1961 the monastery was declared a National Museum, in 1976 - a National Historic Reserve, and since 1983 it is under the auspices of UNESCO. The Rila Monastery holds manuscripts, old printed books, documents from the 14th - 19th centuries, and in the museum - many ancient objects, such as church utensils, sticks, icons, weapons, coin collections and more. The Rila Monastery is one of the BTS Hundred National Tourist Sites and has the status of a separate settlement. Crossing the path to the tomb of St. Ivan Rilski. Free time.
